Our backend work runs on Node.js and Express, with MongoDB and PostgreSQL depending on your data structure and query requirements. We design REST APIs with clarity and consistency — well-documented endpoints, predictable error handling, and pagination that doesn't collapse under load. Authentication systems are built with security as a first principle: JWT-based sessions, role- based access control, OAuth 2.0 integrations, and encrypted data handling that meets GDPR requirements for UK and EU-facing products.

Every backend we ship includes a full Postman collection documenting every endpoint, a staging environment for QA, and environment variable management that makes deployment clean and reproducible.
